TechFlow reported, according to The Block, that cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp will cease its services in Canada at the beginning of next year. Bobby Zagotta, CEO of Bitstamp US and Global Chief Commercial Officer, stated, "Following an initial notification to customers in March, Bitstamp will officially stop providing services to Canadian customers starting January 8, 2024. All Canadian accounts will be closed, and customers will no longer be able to access their accounts." Zagotta urged customers to withdraw their funds before January. He added that the company hopes to potentially resume serving Canadian customers at some point in the future.
