TechFlow reports, according to Cointelegraph, Ripple CTO David Schwartz has proposed that XRP Ledger (XRPL) validators support the Automated Market Maker (AMM) functionality, contingent upon community consensus. The AMM feature is part of Ripple's version 1.12.0 and will integrate with the XRPL DEX. Although Schwartz views AMM as a compelling DeFi innovation, it currently lacks validator support. He also clarified the purpose of the Clawback feature, emphasizing that it is intended to protect developers from potential legal liabilities, not to intrude on XRPL users. Once majority consensus is reached within the community, AMM will go live within two weeks.
