TechFlow news — Michael Lewis, author of "The Big Short," said in an interview with 60 Minutes that former FTX CEO SBF paid $55 million and $35 million respectively to American football player Tom Brady and NBA star Steph Curry for three-year marketing deals requiring only 20 hours of work per year.
Lewis also claimed he paid dozens of other celebrities tens of millions of dollars to promote FTX, including Super Bowl advertisements.
In a promotional post for the NBA All-Star Game, FTX wrote that Steph Curry became part of the company as a global ambassador in 2021 and received equity.
