TechFlow reported that Ethereum core developer eric.eth posted on X, stating: "Lido's staking share reaching 33% does not immediately mean Ethereum is in trouble. Yes, it's not ideal, but you must understand that more than thirty Lido nodes would have to collude and destroy their own business in order to act maliciously."
eric.eth further noted that even in such a scenario, the social layer could intervene by forking the malicious Lido node operators and migrating to a new chain.
