TechFlow news — According to official announcements, the TRON community is expected to release the GreatVoyage-v4.7.3 (Chilon) version in Q4 2023. This upgrade will introduce several key improvements, including richer gRPC access interfaces, faster node startup and initialization, more stable network connections, and higher network throughput performance.
Notably, Chilon is a non-mandatory upgrade designed to deliver a more developer-friendly experience, featuring expanded gRPC interfaces and accelerated node startup times. Additionally, by optimizing disconnection strategies and synchronization processes, this version will enhance connection stability among nodes. Furthermore, improvements to transaction processing logic and database query performance will increase transaction packaging efficiency and overall network throughput. The Chilon release is expected to significantly enhance the convenience of TRON network development, greatly accelerate node startup and initialization speeds, and substantially optimize the performance of network infrastructure.
