TechFlow news: Galxe tweeted that its website has gone offline and will be back online once the correct DNS records propagate globally. Users who did not approve any wallet connection transactions with Galxe after 21:00 Beijing time on October 6 are safe, and their funds and information remain secure.
Galxe uses Dynadot's domain registration service. The http://galxe.com domain was previously compromised, allowing an unauthorized individual temporary control over the Dynadot account. Galxe regained ownership of the domain by 00:00 Beijing time on October 7 and has since worked with Dynadot to secure the account.
Preliminary assessment indicates the total funds lost may amount to approximately $200,000 or less. The team has already contacted relevant law enforcement authorities and will soon release a full report along with a fund recovery plan.
