TechFlow news, on October 2, the U.S. SEC officially acknowledged Franklin Templeton's spot Bitcoin ETF application. It should be noted that this does not mean the ETF has been approved. After acknowledging the application, the SEC has 45 days to make a decision—they may approve, reject, or extend the review period. The SEC can extend the review period up to 240 days, meaning the final decision could be made as late as May 2024.
