TechFlow news — ParaFi Capital, a crypto investment firm with $633 million in assets under management, has announced that its second fund has raised nearly $39 million, against a fundraising target of $100 million.
According to Form D filings publicly available from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the fund is named "ParaFi Venture Fund II LP." It was registered in September 2022 and began fundraising this May. To date, it has raised a total of $38,915,000 from 52 investors.
ParaFi was founded in 2018 by Ben Forman, a former KKR alumnus. The traditional financial giant made its first blockchain investment in ParaFi's fund back in 2021.
