TechFlow reports that the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) today published several lists of virtual asset trading platform operators on its website, including:
The "List of Licensed Virtual Asset Trading Platform Operators," which includes the names of virtual asset trading platform operators formally licensed by the SFC;
The "List of Virtual Asset Trading Platform Applicants," which from today includes the names of applicants whose license applications have not yet been approved by the SFC;
The "List of Virtual Asset Trading Platforms Ceasing Operation," which includes the names of virtual asset trading platform operators required under relevant legislation to cease operations within a specified period;
The "List of Deemed Licensed Virtual Asset Trading Platform Operators," which includes the names of virtual asset trading platform operators deemed licensed as of June 1, 2024.
