TechFlow news — A newly released court trial calendar shows that Sam Bankman-Fried's trial is set to begin on October 3, although opening arguments are expected to start one day later.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Danielle Kudla stated that the Department of Justice estimates the case will take four to five weeks. Mark Cohen, legal representative for SBF, said the defense case is more streamlined and, if the defense chooses to present a case, it could take up to a week and a half. The judge noted that the trial schedule might be extended accordingly, but in any case, there appears to be consensus that the trial will conclude before Thanksgiving in late November.
