TechFlow reports, according to the official governance page, the Aave community is considering a proposal titled "GHO Incentive for the Aave Grants DAO (AGD)", which suggests replacing the current DAI incentives for the Aave Grants DAO (AGD) with GHO incentives.
Under this proposal, AGD contributors and grant recipients would receive rewards in GHO. Given that GHO is currently trading below $1, the Aave DAO could purchase GHO from the market and use it to fund the AGD.
This is expected to help support GHO's peg while also promoting its usage and adoption. Implementing the proposal would send a strong signal of Aave DAO’s commitment to using GHO for rewarding community contributors.
