TechFlow news: Ordinals Wallet, a Bitcoin wallet service provider, announced on X platform the launch of the Ordinals Wallet Runes Deployer, enabling users to create Runes Tokens using Runes, an alternative token protocol to BRC-20.
Additionally, Ordinals Wallet reminds users not to send Rune tokens to other wallets, as they are currently unsupported by other wallets. Users are advised to create an empty wallet with a new address specifically for storing Rune tokens to avoid potential permanent loss. Users will not be able to see their Rune token balances until an indexer is created. The best practice is to create a brand-new Ordinals Wallet and consistently use that wallet.
Yesterday, Casey Rodarmor, founder of Ordinals, introduced Runes, a new protocol built on the Bitcoin network intended as an alternative to BRC20.
