TechFlow reports that Ripple has hired former Obama White House official Lauren Belive as its Head of U.S. Public Policy and Government Affairs. Belive previously served in the White House Office of Legislative Affairs under President Barack Obama, and according to her LinkedIn profile, she was also involved in Obama's campaign activities.
Belive said: "My role will be to lead our engagement in Washington and across the country, ensuring that we not only participate in the conversation but actively shape it in a clear and purposeful way. As the regulatory landscape continues to evolve, it is critical that the policies we advocate for support not only the crypto industry but also the countless individuals and businesses that can benefit from these innovations."
