TechFlow news, CoinDesk published an analysis of the charges against SBF, stating that the FTX founder is about to face trial over the operations and collapse of FTX and its affiliated hedge fund, Alameda Research. The trial involves fraud and conspiracy charges, with two being "substantive" charges and five being "conspiracy" charges. To secure a conviction, prosecutors must prove that SBF personally committed the crimes.
If convicted, SBF could face 10 to 20 years in prison, though the final sentence will be determined by the judge.
