TechFlow reports that Goldman Sachs Asset Management has successfully raised over $14 billion for its largest-ever flagship secondary market fund, along with more than $1 billion for its first-ever secondary market fund focused on infrastructure. In total, over $15 billion has been raised to purchase investor stakes in private equity funds.
This is seen as the latest sign of support for "secondary" strategies amid a more cautious fundraising environment. Goldman Sachs Asset Management also oversees private equity and infrastructure funds, managing over $2 trillion in assets under supervision globally.
