TechFlow news — Starknet announced it will modify the Starknet Feeder Gateway in the fourth quarter of 2023, discontinuing support for various types of queries and retaining only synchronization-related endpoints for full nodes.
The Feeder Gateway will then serve as a centralized gateway to query the Starknet state from the sequencer. This is merely a temporary solution until full nodes supporting Starknet's JSON-RPC mature and become capable of meeting ecosystem demands.
Starknet is collaborating with various API providers to ensure they are prepared. The transition to full nodes and API services represents a move from centralized solutions toward a decentralized, resilient, and efficient system.
Developers are advised by Starknet to migrate to API services or full nodes such as Pathfinder, Juno, and Papyrus.
