TechFlow reports that Canto, a public blockchain in the Cosmos ecosystem, is migrating to a ZK L2 powered by the Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK). This move aims to build a blockchain focused on RWA.
Polygon CDK is a permissionless open-source technology. Chains built with CDK retain their independence without sacrificing modularity, while joining a unified ecosystem of interconnected ZK L2s, enabling fast and seamless access to Ethereum.
Launched in 2022 as a permissionless general-purpose blockchain, Canto offers an EVM execution layer and core financial primitives, including a decentralized exchange, lending markets, and a unit of account (NOTE). Canto Commons, an open and permissionless framework for coordinating decentralized public protocols, oversees core protocol-level development and improvements.
