TechFlow news: On Monday, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) failed to convince a federal judge to allow officials immediate access to conduct an in-depth investigation into Binance.US's software. The SEC stated that it has struggled to obtain information from Binance.US since filing a lawsuit against the company and its CEO, Changpeng Zhao, in June. On Monday, the SEC requested that Federal Judge Zia Faruqui permit an inspection of Binance.US's technical infrastructure and compel the company to share other required information. However, the judge indicated he is "currently not inclined to allow the inspection," adding that the SEC should make more targeted requests and speak with additional witnesses.
