TechFlow news, according to the Snapshot governance interface, Yat Siu, co-founder of Animoca Brands, has proposed AIP-297 on ApeCoin, aiming to create a "Sister DAO" that would manage a community-controlled NFT treasury within the ApeCoin DAO ecosystem. The proposal will conclude voting on September 21 and currently has received 73.87% support.
The "Sister DAO" would operate independently from the main ApeCoin DAO but consist of the same membership base, with the sole requirement being ownership of one APE token. The ApeCoin DAO is required to allocate 750,000 APE (approximately $825,000) to the NFT treasury to purchase IP rights.
