TechFlow reports that on September 14, the 2023 Milken Institute Asia Summit was held in Singapore. Justin Sun, founder of TRON and member of Huobi HTX Global Advisory Board, attended the event and participated in a dialogue with Kirk Wagar, former U.S. Ambassador to Singapore and Chairman of Wagar Global Advisors. During the discussion, Justin Sun stated that stablecoins, as a genuine use case for the industry, have not received sufficient real-world attention, and that cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology hold significant potential in global settlement and payment systems.
Justin Sun emphasized, "Taking TRON as an example, there is currently around $50 billion worth of stablecoins on the blockchain, including USDT, USDC, TUSD, and decentralized stablecoins such as USDD and USDJ. The TRON network processes over $12 billion in daily transaction volume—higher than PayPal's daily volume—but at a significantly lower cost."
