TechFlow reports that C Capital, founded by Adrian Cheng, Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of Hong Kong's New World Group, has successfully completed fundraising for its third private equity fund. The total investment in its main fund and associated co-investment vehicles exceeds $250 million, with participation from diversified funds, financial institutions, and prominent family offices across the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Europe, and other regions. C Capital’s portfolio includes blockchain projects such as Animoca Brands.
Earlier, in August 2022, Cheng disclosed ownership of 101 Azuki-series NFTs. In September 2022, Bloomberg reported that C Capital planned to raise $500 million within 18 months to invest in blockchain assets, credit, and private equity, betting on private companies and digital assets. Ben Cheng, co-founder of C Capital, previously stated that its hedge fund strategy primarily focuses on cryptocurrency trading.
