It was reported that in July, Uniswap founder Hayden Adams' Twitter account was similarly compromised and used to post tweets containing phishing links. Such Twitter hacks may involve SIM card swapping attacks, where attackers take over the victim's phone number, allowing them access to bank accounts, credit cards, or other social media accounts.
