TechFlow reported that Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart commented on X regarding the joint filing by ARK Invest and 21Shares for the "ARK 21Shares Ethereum ETF," as well as Cboe BZX's filing for the "VanEck Ethereum Spot ETF": "The Ethereum ETF race has officially begun. It's still early, but I estimate the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will have a final decision deadline of around May 23, 2024, for these applications. Notably, we haven't previously seen VanEck's spot Ethereum ETF S-1 filing because they originally submitted this application back in 2021."
