TechFlow news: Kang Li, Chief Security Officer at blockchain security firm CertiK, said that AI tools like OpenAI's ChatGPT may introduce more issues, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors when writing smart contracts and building cryptocurrency projects.
Kang Li pointed out that ChatGPT cannot detect logical code flaws as experienced developers can, which could lead to more vulnerabilities—potentially disastrous for novice or amateur programmers.
He suggested using ChatGPT as an assistant for engineers, as it excels more in explaining the meaning of code, but cautioned against relying on it to write code, especially for inexperienced programmers attempting to build profitable projects.
Kang Li stated he would maintain this stance over the next two to three years, even though the rapid advancement of AI could greatly enhance ChatGPT's capabilities.
