TechFlow news — On September 6, it was reported that Haun Ventures, the investment firm founded by former a16z partner Katie Haun, has hired Suzanne Kim, a seasoned professional from the private equity (PE) industry, as a new partner. Kim brings over 15 years of experience in the sector, most recently serving as Managing Director at Hellman & Friedman. Prior to that, she was a Vice President at TPG Capital. Kim stated that she aims to help Haun Ventures’ limited partners (LPs) better understand the firm’s perspectives on regulation, investment opportunities, its current portfolio, and cryptocurrency technology.
Earlier in early August, sources revealed that Haun Ventures had already deployed approximately 40% of the $1.5 billion raised last year. The firm supports a range of cryptocurrency companies and projects, including Aptos, Taxbit, and Zora.
