TechFlow reports that Trust Machines, a Web3 company building an ecosystem of Bitcoin applications, has announced the launch of its flagship wallet Leather following the acquisition and rebranding of Hiro Wallet. While the wallet already supports Stacks L2 functionality and Bitcoin Ordinals, the company stated that the enhanced product is designed to bridge the Bitcoin network with emerging Layer 2 solutions.
The wallet is self-custodial, open-source, and audited, enabling users to secure and manage Bitcoin, Stacks L2, and other Bitcoin-secured assets such as BRC-20 tokens. It also supports depositing, viewing, creating, trading, and transferring Ordinals, Stacks NFTs, and Bitcoin Stamps.
