TechFlow news, Arbitrum development team Offchain Labs has released Arbitrum Stylus, announcing that the code is open-source and already available on the testnet, enabling smart contract development using Rust, C, and C++.
This tool leverages Arbitrum Nitro technology to build applications on Ethereum's leading scaling solution, reducing gas fees and enabling cheaper dApp interactions.
It addresses the limitation developers face when entering blockchain due to restricted programming languages, allowing them to use different programming languages on the same chain, thereby expanding the developer community.
The tool’s computational speed, cost efficiency, and mature WASM ecosystem make previously impractical blockchain applications feasible. Arbitrum Stylus is expected to support any systems programming language that can compile to WASM.
