TechFlow news: Google Cloud engineering director James Tromans said that the value of Web3 lies in solving business problems, rather than merely speculating on token values.
He emphasized that Google is working to connect artificial intelligence (AI) with Web3, focusing on digital ownership and data security, while noting that AI will improve time-to-market for companies and projects and enhance the efficiency of productivity tools such as smart contract writing and auditing.
He also stated that AI will not be a panacea for investors and enterprises trying to identify the best projects from Web3, but it will help startups reduce their time-to-market.
Regarding the controversy over hosting Web3 projects on "traditional" platforms like Google Cloud and Amazon AWS, he said this view is unfounded, emphasizing that Google's infrastructure supports the development of decentralized networks.
He also called on developers to apply Web3 technology broadly and equitably across various fields so that everyone can benefit from it.
