TechFlow news: SlowMist Chief Information Security Officer 23pds tweeted that regarding the recent large-scale theft affecting BitBrowser users, they have already partnered with collaborators to successfully intercept part of the stolen funds currently being laundered. BitBrowser is in the process of filing a formal case, and upon successful registration, SlowMist will officially intervene.
Previously, BitBrowser announced that its server-side cache data had been breached by hackers. The company has reported the incident to authorities. Users who have enabled extension data synchronization may be at risk of wallet theft and are advised to take immediate action to transfer their wallet assets. An official notification will be issued once the breach is fully resolved. Currently, only cryptocurrency wallet users are affected; all other users remain unaffected.
