TechFlow news: LimeWire, a digital collectibles marketplace for art and entertainment, will launch a Creator Studio on Polygon, continuing its development as a Web3 content platform.
The studio will initially focus on image generation, enabling users to create new images or enhance existing ones using AI models. In the future, it will also allow users to generate AI-powered music using melodies, beats, and song libraries. These creations will be minted as NFTs and managed via the Polygon blockchain. Creators will share revenue from both original and AI-generated content they upload.
Specifically, artists will earn a share of advertising revenue generated by LimeWire based on views of their content, paid in the platform’s native token LMWR. Their content can also be traded as NFTs on LimeWire’s secondary market, with creators receiving royalties based on trading volume, paid in USDC. Additionally, creators can restrict access to their content by requiring fans to pay a monthly fee priced in USDC.
