TechFlow news — The grand final of the first-ever Web3 esports tournament, MATR1X Sniper Night, kicked off at 8 PM on August 27. The two finalist teams are LG from the Chinese-speaking region and INA TOP5 from Indonesia. In addition to the final match, a special exhibition game featured a team composed of well-known Taiwanese gaming streamers Roger, Guo Dong, 9QOQ, and Guo Tao, competing against the Japanese FPS team Destiny.
The event was co-hosted by the Web3 esports platform BoxTradex and the Web3 mobile shooter game MATR1X FIRE, marking a major milestone for Web3 gaming. With a prize pool totaling $10,000 USD, 16 elite FPS teams from around the globe advanced through multiple community-based qualifying rounds to reach the finals. Ultimately, LG and INA Top5 emerged as the finalists vying for the championship title.
