TechFlow news — The semi-finals of the inaugural Web3 esports tournament, MATR1X Sniper Night, kicked off at 8:00 PM on August 26. This event is co-hosted by the Web3 gaming platform BoxTradex and the Web3 mobile shooter game MATR1X FIRE, marking a major milestone for Web3 gaming.
The tournament features a prize pool of $10,000 USD. After multiple rounds of community-based qualifiers, 16 elite FPS teams from Mainland China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Macau, and Southeast Asia advanced to the finals. Ultimately, four professional esports teams—TEAM 301, LG, GMA, and Indonesia Top5—secured their spots in the semi-finals.
Tonight features two semi-final matches: LG vs. TEAM 301 and GMA vs. Indonesia TOP 5. The winners will advance to the grand final at 8:00 PM tomorrow.
