TechFlow news: Anytype, the decentralized, local-first peer-to-peer open-source tool, has officially announced the completion of a $13.4 million funding round led by Balderton Capital, with participation from Inflection, Square One, Script Capital, Protocol Labs, Connect Ventures, New Forge, Foreword VC, and a group of prominent Web3 angel investors. The funds will be used to enhance product features—such as introducing multi-user collaboration—and improve user experience.
Anytype stated it will pursue long-term partnerships with like-minded collaborators who share its values. Colin Hanna from Balderton will join Anytype’s board of directors. Anytype aims to make digital sovereignty accessible through its product.
Anytype’s local-first, peer-to-peer open-source platform delivers the freedom the web was originally meant to provide, while safeguarding privacy, data autonomy, and user control. By combining no-code tools with a decentralized architecture, it empowers creators and communities to build the web on their own terms.
