TechFlow reports that the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) said it has tracked 1,580 bitcoins—worth over $40 million—stolen by North Korean hacking groups (Lazarus Group and APT38) in the past 24 hours, stored across six addresses. According to a statement, the agency believes the North Korean hackers may be attempting to liquidate their holdings of digital assets.
It urged private sector entities to review the latest blockchain data related to the addresses provided by the FBI on Tuesday and remain vigilant against transactions directly linked to these addresses or originating from them.
