TechFlow reports, according to Dylan Leclair, co-founder of crypto data analytics firm 21stParadigm, Aave V3 experienced massive liquidations today due to the market downturn, with a total of $9.53 million in assets liquidated on Ethereum—the largest single-day liquidation since January 2023.
The main assets liquidated include $5 million worth of wstETH, $3 million of WETH, and $657,000 of WBTC. Among them, the address 0xb089 accounted for nearly $4.49 million in liquidations, representing 47% of the total.
Data shows that approximately $4 million worth of wstETH has already been swapped for USDC on Uniswap to repay debts on the Aave V3 platform.
