TechFlow reported, according to Bloomberg, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) plans to approve the listing of the first Ethereum futures ETF, a major victory for several firms that have long sought to offer such products. According to sources familiar with the matter, the SEC is unlikely to block these products from launching. Multiple firms, including Volatility Shares, Bitwise, Roundhill, and ProShares, have filed applications to launch Ethereum futures ETFs. It is not yet clear which funds will be approved. One source familiar with the matter, speaking on condition of anonymity, said officials have indicated that several ETFs could be listed before October.
