TechFlow reports that ICON has announced progress on its integration testing with IBC, including a smart contract implementation of the light client to ensure IBC chain compatibility without requiring hard forks, as well as achieving interoperability with the Archway and Neutron testnets.
Next steps include conducting an internal audit, deploying relevant fixes on the mainnet, and activating BTP blocks.
The team stated that a timeline for Archway's mainnet launch is expected to be confirmed in August.
