TechFlow reported that the decentralized cross-chain trading protocol THORChain has announced via Twitter it is developing a TSS security patch planned for release in version V119. Out of caution, THORSec and Nine Realms recommend postponing lending operations until the patch is deployed.
There are numerous variables during the TSS key generation process, and most TSS security issues originate from this phase. Disabling node churn can prevent new key generation.
Version V119 will include upstream fixes addressing security vulnerabilities in TSS key generation. THORChain has chosen to delay lending services to ensure network security.
