TechFlow news: Ethereum restaking protocol EigenLayer is set to adjust its LST (liquid staking token) restaking caps at 22:00 Beijing time on August 22. This adjustment covers multiple tokens including stETH, rETH, and cbETH. Once the cap is lifted, users will be able to deposit one of these tokens into EigenLayer. Restaking acceptance will be paused once any single LST reaches a milestone of 100,000 tokens.
In addition, EigenLayer has announced the upcoming launch of the Operator testnet. This testnet will include features such as EigenDA validation services, node operations, performance and maintenance tools, and will also introduce the M2 testnet to enhance the delegation experience.
