TechFlow News — Modular blockchain Celestia has announced the conclusion of its incentivized testnet, Blockspace Race, with plans to launch the mainnet later this year.
The testnet, launched on March 7, attracted 1,000 participants and currently boasts over 700 active light nodes, achieving significant progress in data availability sampling. The top 75 winners have been identified and will assist in launching the mainnet later this year as part of the Genesis configuration file, forming the foundation for the continued growth of the validator community. During the testnet phase, Celestia implemented multiple upgrades, including the deployment of over 800 sovereign rollups, the deployment and activation of the Quantum Gravity Bridge validator set, and the implementation of a new hard fork mechanism.
