TechFlow news, the Venom Foundation has announced the signing of a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the UAE government to develop and implement a national carbon credit system. This pivotal partnership marks a major step toward addressing environmental challenges through blockchain technology and advancing sustainable development on a national scale.
This revolutionary collaboration highlights the UAE's strong commitment to enhancing transparency, reliability, and efficiency in carbon emissions management, while leveraging Venom’s next-generation blockchain technology to support the country’s ambitious climate goal of reducing carbon emissions by 40% by 2030. The Venom blockchain itself is carbon-neutral.
The MOU, signed among the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MCCE), the Industrial Innovation Group, and the Venom Foundation, outlines four strategic objectives: emission reduction, promotion of sustainable agriculture, improvement of environmental health, and protection of biodiversity. As part of this collaboration, Venom will actively contribute to achieving a greener future.
