TechFlow news — On August 9, Chainlink price feeds were integrated with Base, enabling Base developers to access Chainlink data feeds. The integration between Chainlink and Base will support DeFi applications and allow Base to connect with external DeFi protocols such as lending platforms and futures markets.
Jesse Pollak, Head of Protocol at Coinbase, said that adding Chainlink price feeds will allow developers to "port existing applications to Base."
Johann Eid, Chief Commercial Officer at Chainlink Labs, stated, "The Chainlink price feed integration will empower Base developers to build next-generation use cases and enable existing DeFi protocols to seamlessly deploy on Base."
