TechFlow News: Animoca Brands tweeted that its subsidiary nWay will launch the Web3 multiplayer fighting game "Wreck League" in September. The game's first season has partnered with Yuga Labs to feature IPs including Bored Ape, Mutant Ape Yacht Club, Bored Ape Kennel Club, and Otherside Kodas. Players can collect mech parts (NFTs) and assemble them into complete mech character NFTs.
In addition, nWay will release a free Web2 version of "Wreck League" that does not require NFTs to play (F2P). This version will retain the core gameplay and combat mechanics of the Web3 edition, while adding typical F2P features such as daily quests, battle passes, and an in-game store.
