TechFlow News — p0x labs, the development team behind Manta Network, announced today that it has raised $25 million in a Series A round at a $500 million valuation. The round was co-led by Polychain Capital and Qiming Venture Partners, with participation from Alliance, CoinFund, SevenX Ventures, and others. The funding will be used to advance the development of the Manta Network, grow its user base, and expand ecosystem applications on Manta Pacific.
Additionally, the Manta Pacific testnet is launching today. The testnet currently features various zkApps available for users, including zkHoldEm, a fully on-chain private Texas Hold’em game; zkMe, a private credential verification protocol; and zkPass, a data privacy protection protocol.
Manta Pacific is the first EVM-native modular execution layer designed specifically for widespread adoption and practical use of ZK technology. Leveraging Manta’s plug-and-play universal circuits and SDK, developers can focus entirely on building products without needing to master complex cryptography. Furthermore, Pacific leverages Celestia’s data availability layer to enhance security, reduce gas fees, and achieve scalability through a customized OP Stack built on Caldera.
