TechFlow news, the non-profit Dfinity Foundation has launched a $5 million grant program aimed at advancing artificial intelligence applications in blockchain technology and smart contracts, providing funding for the development of decentralized artificial intelligence ("DeAI").
Grants will be awarded in increments of 5,000, 25,000, 50,000, and 100,000 dollars worth of Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) tokens, with the $100,000 level reserved for larger teams or developers who have already completed work under smaller grants.
Dominic Williams, founder and chief scientist of the Dfinity Foundation, told Decrypt that projects already using AI on the Internet Computer blockchain include Dmail for decentralized email and Itoka, a platform for creating AI-generated music.
