TechFlow news, Ripple's CBDC advisor Antony Welfare said in a report on July 7 that the Ripple team is actively exploring practical applications of CBDCs and stablecoins, with a particular focus on real estate tokenization.
At a fintech conference held in Romania, Welfare presented a use case combining digital Hong Kong dollars, tokenized real estate, and lending protocols. This pilot program aims to enable users to leverage Ripple's CBDC platform to tokenize real estate assets and use them as collateral for loans.
