TechFlow news: Twitter's lawyer accuses Meta of stealing trade secrets. Hours after Meta, the parent company of Instagram, launched its competing app Threads, Twitter attorney Alex Spiro sent a letter to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg accusing Meta of systematically, intentionally, and unlawfully misappropriating Twitter's trade secrets and other intellectual property.
In the letter, Spiro stated, "Twitter intends to strictly enforce its intellectual property rights and demands that Meta immediately take steps to cease using any of Twitter’s trade secrets or other highly confidential information." He added, "Twitter reserves all rights, including but not limited to pursuing civil and injunctive relief without further notice to prevent Meta from further retaining, disclosing, or using its intellectual property."
