1. Protocol code release: Completed on June 13, 2023. The protocol repository has been made publicly available for review and contributions.

2. Protocol code freeze: Dependent on the successful integration of EIP-1153 into the Cancun upgrade, expected as early as September.

3. Protocol deployment: The V4 codebase will undergo extensive audits prior to deployment. The duration of the audit process is currently uncertain, with estimates ranging from one to four months.
Erin emphasized that this timeline is for reference only. The Cancun upgrade could be delayed, the audit process may take longer, and the protocol might undergo additional security testing not yet discussed.
