TechFlow news: Yat Siu, co-founder of Animoca Brands, has been appointed to Hong Kong's newly established Web3 Development Task Force. The task force is chaired by the Financial Secretary and comprises fifteen non-official members from relevant industries, alongside key government officials and representatives from financial regulatory bodies.
"Web3 has the potential to address many challenges and pain points encountered in finance, trade, business operations, and even daily life," said Financial Secretary Paul Chan. "By bringing together leaders and professionals from the relevant sectors, I am confident their valuable insights will help position Hong Kong as a hub for the third-generation internet."
