The Hong Kong government has established a dedicated task force for Web3.0 development, with Financial Secretary Paul Chan serving as chairman.
The Hong Kong government has announced the establishment of a Task Force on Third-Generation Internet (Web3.0) Development. The task force will be chaired by Financial Secretary Paul Chan, and its members include 15 non-official members from relevant industries, as well as key government officials and representatives from financial regulatory bodies. The term of office for non-official members takes effect from July 1, 2023, and lasts for two years.
